Affordable Child Care Benefit

The Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) is a monthly payment program offered by the BC Provincial Government which helps eligible families with the cost of childcare and preschool. Factors like income, family size, and type of care determine how much financial support families can receive. Households earning up to $111K may be eligible. Visit their website at gov.bc.ca/affordablechildcarebenefit for more information.

Please review the following important information before submitting your application:

  • Child Care Arrangement Forms (CCAF): The CCAF is completed online through your My Family Services account. If prompted to upload a Child Care Arrangement Form, select “This document is optional. I am not attaching this document.”
  • Requesting a PDF Form: Families can complete the CCAF online as part of their application. If your online application requires a PDF version of the form, please email the Administration office to request this. Please allow up to two weeks for the form to be emailed to you.
  • Mid-Year Renewals: ACCB approval may not cover the entire duration of your child’s program. Depending on your approval period, you may need to complete a mid-year renewal through your My Family Services account to continue receiving benefits.
  • Application Status and Eligibility: ACCB is administered by the government and all applications are handled directly between the family and ACCB. Wind & Tide does not have access to individual application details or approval status.

If you have questions about your application or eligibility, please contact the Affordable Child Care Benefit office at 1-888-388-6622 (Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm).

For assistance with the online application, please contact the ACCB office and ask to speak with the Portal Support Team.
