At Wind & Tide you will find educators full of enthusiasm, love and dedication to the teaching of young children. They know the best learning occurs through hands-on, joy-filled play.
Wind & Tide's unique educational methodology requires talented and highly-trained teachers who intentionally engage in child-centered play to facilitate rich, advanced learning. We are very proud of our exceptional teachers.
In addition to meeting all Provincial Ministry requirements, including Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification and Criminal Record Checks, all Wind & Tide teachers participate in over 20 hours of professional development each year. Each classroom teacher also receives two or more observation days per month from a Regional Director.
As experienced teachers, Regional Directors oversee each Wind & Tide campus providing encouragement and support. They are present as a resource to both teachers and families. A picture of the Regional Director and her contact information is posted at each campus on the Parent Notice Board.
Our Administration Office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-4:30PM (except on statutory and observed holidays/closures), and we are here to assist you by phone, by email, or in person at our office. Phone lines are available until 4:00PM.
