When you are excited about your child's experiences, they know it. Early childhood is packed with growth and development, so we offer a variety of ways in which we communicate between our schools and our families. We want our families to marvel in all that your child is learning and discovering in our programs.

We are eager to connect with you in the following ways:

1. Wind & Tide Parent Portal
   Your Parent Portal account is a gateway to a program application and registration, your child’s class information and details, online classroom calendar, access to important forms, documents and policies, in addition to helpful parent resources, such as informational videos, brochures, guides, and program newsletters.
2. Email Communication
   Information regarding inquiries, program registration, tuition payments, program newsletters, support inquiries, as well as timely alerts or notifications for specific programs and classes, is communicated to families by email from the Administration office. We also strive to keep our families well-informed of upcoming events, registration and subjects that may be of interest. Wind & Tide teachers communicate regularly with parents through email to share what students are learning in class, reminders about special event days, etc.
3. Classroom Bulletin Boards, Online Classroom Calendars and Teacher Communication
   Each campus location has an announcement/bulletin board at the entrance to the Centre or classroom, with posted information to keep you up-to-date with all that is happening in your child’s classroom, including important messages and class events. Conversations during drop-off and dismissal times, are a special and welcomed opportunity for teachers to connect with our families.
4. Wind & Tide’s Website and Social Media
   Our website is a great source of information for our registered and prospective families. Also featured on our homepage is an Announcement section that provides timely alerts and updates as well as important notices for all Wind & Tide families. We have expanded our social media presence. Follow us at Wind & Tide on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. We’d love to journey with you.
5. In-Class Events and Special Event Days
   There is so much that happens within the classroom that parents are welcomed to come into our classrooms and volunteer on special event days and/or on scheduled field trips. This is a wonderful opportunity to watch all that unfolds in our programs. Note: During the pandemic due to safety protocols, social distancing, and occupancy limits, these opportunities have been suspended; however, we look forward to being able to have parents back in our classrooms soon.
6. Family 360 Podcast
   Created and hosted by Wind & Tide's founding director Rachel Cram, and Roy Salmond, producer of our renowned Wind & Tide music albums, new episodes release every second Tuesday and are free for you to download and share. Each episode is 30+ minutes long, sharing conversations with specialists, artists and storytellers on parenting and all the ways we are family to each other. There are already hours of episodes with renown experts awaiting you!
