Preschool

Our preschool program consists of two classes - our three year old program and our four year old program. The first year of preschool at Wind and Tide is a spirited introduction to social and academic life. This fun filled program takes full advantage of a young child's remarkable ability to learn. And we cover a full gamut of subjects, from Science to Art! The first year of our program is the Tues/Thur class. The focused curriculum components are our Going for Goodness, Mad Math Hat and Beginner's Biology modules.

Children MUST be three years of age by Dec 31 of the school year to register for three year old classes.

After the first year, children continue on into level 2 of our program. Even though classes are full for the most part (because our three-year-olds move automatically to our four year old classes), we anticipate some enrollment change before each school year starts in September. Children are welcome to start the program at the four year old level if there is space and if they are old enough. The four year old class runs Mon/Wed/Fri and contains more focus on our phonics program, as well as the World of Wonder's curriculum module and the All About Art module.
