Register for the 2009 / 2010 Kindergarten Class.

The Wind and Tide Kindergarten is serious fun, serious academic learning and serious social growth all bundled together!  This exciting five day a week program for five year olds recognizes the need to give our children a great start to their school years.

The kindergarten program builds on the academic basics taught in preschool with an enhanced program of reading, math, art, science, and social studies to provide a comprehensive curriculum. By the end of the year, children leave the kindergarten program reading, writing, brimming with great information and eager to learn more.

The kindergarten program is offered at our Sunnyside location five half-days a week - either mornings or afternoons - and runs from September to June.

PLEASE NOTE: CHILDREN MUST TURN FIVE BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2010 IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR THE KINDERGARTEN CLASS BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 2009. A COPY OF YOUR CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE WILL BE REQUIRED.

New for September 2008

Children will no longer be permitted to register at Wind and Tide Kindergarten and another Kindergarten. We are becoming an independent school, which means that our enrollment will be closely monitored by the government.

For example: in previous years, some children have attended Wind and Tide Kindergarten in the morning and then attended another Kindergarten in their neighbourhood in the afternoon.

As of September 2008, when Wind and Tide is informed that your child is also registered at another school, we will remove your child from our class.

Online Registration for the 2009/2010 school year starts at 10:00pm on:

• Nov.1, 2008 for all 3 and 4 Year-Old Preschool, and Kindergarten classes.
• Feb.1, 2009 for all after-school programs.
